Pursue the Dream was born from the belief that everyone can achieve their dreams, no matter what background they come from. Whether you aspire to be a business owner, learn English, become a home owner or have a family, Pursue the Dream provides ways to help you get there.

We do this in several ways. 

 

Financial Literacy classes: We believe that people cannot plan for their future if they cannot understand their present financial state. It is crucial to understand how money works: taxes, finances, loans, etc. After all, your finances are the means to your survival: It can help define where you need more work and where you can grow. 

 

English as a second language classes: The English language is essential for communication. However, this may not come easy if you were not born in this country, or came to this country as an adult. In our classes, not only do we teach the basics needed to pass an English proficiency test, we also teach people the art of communication. We believe that being an effective communicator not only gets others to listen but also helps to spread the message.

 

Housing programs: Every American should have access to safe and warm housing. We help to find a home for every individual by working with HUD programs, rental assistance and local and state housing programs. 

 

Home ownership: One of the biggest gaps in the wealth class over the last 20 years has been defined by the ability to own a home.Did you know that Gen Z and Gen Alpha are the first generations in the history of the US that cannot afford to buy their own homes? We aim to change this statistic by helping people find a savings plan that works for them. We will work with you to help plan for your future. We have a network of realtors and mortgage lenders that we work with to help you find your first home.
